SHA-LEY

Interesting how chalet is pronounced as SHA-LEY and not CHAR-LET. (:

*WARNING!!!: Long post ahead

Yes, I'm back with the pictures of the shaley. OK, I shall keep using that word here for the dearest CHUNHAN who pronounces lingerie as LING-GER-RIE and not LAHN-ZHUH-REY (disclaimer: I got this from dictionary.com). So I guess all of you have to put up with SHALEY for the rest of the post. (:


The shaley was fine, not wonderful, not bad, just pretty much OKAY. I must tell you, the place was HUGE and comfortable. Our 1st reaction was WOW! The outside looked amazing and it didn't even look like a chalet as it blended in with the rest of the private housing. If you didn't notice the sign that indicates that it is a chalet, it looked totally like those nice expensive private house! And the inside look good too! With a proper kitchen and 3 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms. There was a dining hall and a big hall plus a few balconies which I dare not take a look at cause it was pretty freaky. There was light behind one door, and Cera told me it was a balcony. But HEY, if it's a balcony, doesn't it mean it is outdoors? Why would there be light shining from the bottom of the door in the middle of the night? FREAKY!


Oh yarr, before that ... Let's REWIND!!!!


Han, We met at Pasir Ris MRT station, which was after Cera and I met for lunch at White Sand. Chun Han, Yuhui and Cera left with a whole load of stuff and headed for the shaley while Fukang, Ellyn, Ben, Gernaine and I went to Cold Storage to get stuff for the BBQ. Buying things were impromptu cause the dearest Yuhui had no idea that having a shaley and BBQ required planning. In the end, it was Ellyn, Fukang and I running around Cold Storage to buy the necessary food stuff, while Ben and Gernaine looked after the trolley and grab some simple stuff like chips and the drinks. Lin Di joined us there and looked after the trolley while Ben and Gernaine ...... (fill in the blanks yourself. haha)

Back at the shaley, Chunhan Yuhui and Cera were being MAIDS as they sweep and mop up the place, and even washing up the plates and cutleries. Of course we helped and also prepared the food for the BBQ. But, we were lacking an important thing! The CHARCOAL !!! We had to wait for QiTe and Edwin to buy it for us. So we had some fun while waiting for them to arrive. They told us they will be here at around 6.

OK, suddenly RuXin pops out of nowhere. Obviously he arrives after being lost for hours at Pasir Ris park due to the ULU-ness of the place and the poor directions that Yuhui has left him. But that sort of saves our lives.

Cause it was near 7 and QiTe and Edwin were still at KALLANG!!! So Ellyn, RuXin and I headed out to buy the charcoal. Thankfully, RuXin found a place where charcoal was sold as he was lost in Pasir Ris Park.

By the time we head back, I think WenJie and SockChing have arrived. The rest continued to play their games while Ellyn and I started the fire with 4 useless men having no idea how to start a fire. Well, at least they made themselves useful.

SCANDALOUS PICTURE!!!

It is really funny that out of the 4 guys who are at the shaley, NON of them knew how to start a fire. And it was up to us GIRLS to start the fire. GIRL POWER! (:

After the fire was set up and before we were going to cook the food, Ellyn started the COAL WAR. (No pun indeed) She started using her coal dirtied hands to dirty our faces. And then the WAR begun. The people who helped out with the fire starting which includes Ellyn, Fukang, LinDi and I started attacking each other and those slackers inside who are slacking their arses around playing a game or two. After a while, the war ended and FuKang realises something.

This is not the exact word for word recount, but the idea is there.

FuKang: I realise something.
Me: What?
FuKang: Ellyn made everyone, but she never kenna.

My hand immediately went to Ellyn's face.
Ellyn manages to dodge my attack.
But at the other side LinDi's hand made a direct hit.

LinDi: You were saying?

Anyway, Ben and Gernaine decided to go blading, and I suppose they took my camera with them. Or at least while the couple were wearing their gears.

Yes! The couple finally arrived at 8 !!! WOW! They are so early! OK, if you don't sense the sarcasm, you really are bad. They were 2 hours late and thank god we did not rely on them for the charcoal. If we did, I suppose we will only have food at 10 or 11.

So some food were done and we brought them in for the rest to makan! Of course it was still the same few of us outside cooking for the slackers inside.

Now there will be a shortage of pictures. Cause my camera went out of batteries.

So at night, AiXue came. Ellyn, LinDi, SockChing, Ice and Mr Ng left. At around 12, Yuhui, ChunHan, Ben, Gernaine and WenJie slept. =.= SO FREAKING EARLY!!! Who actually sleeps at a shaley man? OK, it's not for me to comment on things like that.

So Cera, QiTe, AiXue, RuXin, NanXiao and Edwin were left up playing cards while QiTe tells his cold jokes and Cera half telling her cold jokes cause she forgets how they go about. It was then we got chased out for being too noisy cause people needed to sleep. So we headed to the park to play! I seriously think the bunch of them have deprived childhood. They are so happy when playing at the park. HAHA! After that we headed to Elias Mall's 7eleven to have SUPPER!

We were like stranded beggars eating outside 7eleven with no place to sit. Haha! After that, we bought some alcohol back to enjoy. RuXin paid for them but they still checked his IC. And Cera, if you are reading this, YES it have to be YOU! But, it's a good thing to look young OK? =D

We went back but headed upstairs and continued to play more card games while we consume our liquor. But we end up losing some of our mates to the sleep monster. It was then left with NanXiao, QiTe, Edwin and I who headed out to Pasir Ris Park to view the sunrise, though there wasn't exactly much to see. I enjoyed the wind in my hair and the waters in my feet while the 3 of them sat down and chatted.

We then head back, and sent NanXiao home cause her house is so near before heading back to the shaley. Edwin and QiTe then plopped down and fell asleep. I had nothing to do so I took pictures of the people sleeping.

The rest of the pictures are taken by my handphone camera which explains the bad quality. Cause my camera really die of no battery. And it gives a good effect cause now nobody can see who the people are in the unglam pictures. Up to you guys to guy, but I'm not telling anyone anything.

Then it was raining and I was the only one awake. When the rest awake, I still had nothing to do so I went out to stare and the raining scene. And I took a picture of the "garden".




So much greeneries. Nice right? Haha. Then I still had nothing to do. So the smart me went to have a ride on the bike IN THE RAIN. Which cause me to fall sick and still have not recovered completely. Stupid Me. I went home after that cause I have nothing to do and didn't feel really well. I was having headaches for the past night and I suspect myself of having a slight fever cause my body was feeling warm but I was feeling really cold. Weird huh.



Anyway, to end of my post, I'll give you...
